With Carole on piano, Cormac O Brien on bass and Dominic Mullan on drums, the trio continues their ever-strengthening bond spanning 10 years of performance and three previous albums.
THROUGH THE STORM continues the ecological themes of Carole’s previous work. This album’s narrative combines admiration of swallows’ annual migration with concerns of habitat loss and extinction. With all original compositions, and a short field recording, the primary format is acoustic piano, bass, and drums, with some Fender Rhodes, saxophone and birdsong.
