Randy Aldcroft

Randy Aldcraft was born in Toronto, Canada, and later moved to Los Angeles where he worked with notable musicians such as Joe Mainey, Conte Condoli, Frank Rosolino, Bill Perkins, Ollie Mitchell, and Joe Pass before his military service. Returning to Los Angeles, he freelanced and worked in TV and many famous big bands, including those led by Mike Barone, Bob Florence, Artie Shaw, and Benny Goodman. He recorded with artists such as Frank Sinatra, Barbara Streisand, Stevie Wonder, Elvis Presley, and more. His Breakfast Wine composition is in the Real Book and was recorded by Bobby Shew as the title track for one of his albums.
