Greg Felton

is a Dublin-based pianist, composer and educator. His trio, Origin Story’s debut release, GOOD FRIDAY was The Irish Times album of the year in 2020. Other bands include White Rocket, Ronan Guilfoyle’s Always Know, Mappa Mundi and Evidence, Louis Stewart
Quintet and Mike Nielsen Quartet. He also lectures on Dublin City University’s Jazz Studies BA.
 Greg has a Waterford Institute of Technology, BA in Composition and an AGSM in Jazz Performance from Newpark Music Centre/Guildhall School of Music. He studied South Indian classical rhythm and melody in Chennai with Dr. K.S.S. Subramaniam and Trichur
Narendran in 2006, creative improvisation in Banff with Vijay Iyer, Greg Osby and Dave Douglas, with whom he also studied advanced harmony and composition.
